Welcome to the Idaho Library Association! |
The Idaho Library Association is proud to announce that Huda Shaltry has been named as a 2024 "Mover & Shaker" by Library Journal. The list, published annually by Library Journal since 2002, spotlights individuals who are making powerful impacts in their communities and advancing the library field as a profession. The recognition is bestowed upon advocates, change agents, community builders, educators, and innovators.
Huda, Branch Manager of Library! at Hillcrest for the Boise Public Library, was recognized for her work as Legislative Chair of the Idaho Library Association. She advocated tirelessly and diligently to protect access to a rich diversity of materials throughout Idaho. Huda is a brave and powerful advocate for libraries and the people they serve, with a resolve to preserve the freedom to read that is unfaltering.

I am honored to work with Huda in the efforts to protect and preserve their access to information.
Please join me in congratulating Huda Shaltry, a genuine Mover & Shaker.
In service,
